SVGU Book Club Organises Creative Storytelling and Role-Play Activity
The Book Club of Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University (SVGU) organised an engaging and interactive meeting focused on creative storytelling, teamwork and role-play. The activity aimed to encourage imagination, communication skills, collaboration and active participation among students.
As part of the activity, participants were divided into two teams, each led by a team leader. Two short folk stories featuring seven characters each were prepared, and character names were distributed to the team leaders through chits. Each team assigned roles to its members, developed its own creative storyline and presented the story through an entertaining role-play performance.
The activity provided students with an opportunity to express their ideas, explore different characters and work collaboratively. It also encouraged group discussions, self-introductions, confidence-building and creative thinking.
The meeting concluded on an enthusiastic note, with participants enjoying the experience of creating and performing stories together. The initiative successfully highlighted the Book Club's commitment to promoting creativity, communication, teamwork and experiential learning beyond the classroom.
