About
Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University (SVGU), in association with the Indian Red Cross society (Ahmedabad), under the social service arm National Service Scheme (NSS) organised a blood donation drive on September 8 at its campus. The drive witnessed a good number of First-time blood donors (especially the first year’s students from various programs at SVGU) stepping up for the noble cause.
The faculty as well as the administration staff also joined the enthusiastic students in the drive, cumulatively donated 45 units, to have their contribution towards noble cause.
The drive is part of the university’s commitment towards society in helping the people in need when it is needed the most as I one Unit Saves up to three lives. The drives like this are aimed at imparting a valuable lesson and learning to the generation who is to shape the family, society and nation.
