Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University (SVGU) conducted the second edition of its Research Guidance Session, reaffirming its commitment to fostering a vibrant research culture and enhancing the quality of scholarly work. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 100 faculty members and research scholars.
To provide sustained mentorship, SVGU has constituted a distinguished Research Guidance Committee comprising Dr A. C. Brahmbhatt, Prof. Bala Bhaskaran, and Prof. (Dr.) Savita Gandhi; and Prof. (Dr.) Subhash Brahmbhatt, Provost, SVGU.
The experts shared practical insights on publishing in Scopus- and Web of Science-indexed journals, improving citations and research impact, upholding research ethics, and enhancing the quality and visibility of academic publications. They also highlighted opportunities for funded research projects and emphasised the role of quality research in enriching teaching, curriculum development, and academic innovation.
As part of this initiative, the expert committee will visit the university every month to mentor faculty members and research scholars, helping them produce globally relevant, high-impact research that advances knowledge and creates meaningful societal impact.
