An online workshop on “Software Testing” was conducted on 19th January 2026 for TYBCA students. The session was led by Ms. Richa Mehta, an industry expert from STAD Solutions.
The primary objective of the workshop was to provide students with practical exposure to software testing and to make them aware of the importance of testing in the software development life cycle. Ms. Mehta explained the crucial role of software testing across various fields and emphasized why a significant amount of time is dedicated to testing in the software industry.
During the session, students were introduced to different types of software testing, including manual testing and automated testing. The speaker explained real-world scenarios to help students understand how testing ensures quality, reliability, and performance of software products.
A hands-on practice session was also arranged, during which students actively participated in automated testing activities. This practical exposure helped them gain firsthand experience and better understanding of testing tools and techniques.
