On September 2nd and 3rd, students from the Chimanbhai Patel Institute of Management & Research (CPIMR), affiliated with Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University (SVGU), embarked on a two-day industrial visit to the Adani Group's facilities in Mundra. This educational tour provided students with invaluable, real-world experience, complementing their academic knowledge with practical insights into large-scale industrial operations. 
The immersive tour, a key component of the institute's commitment to hands-on learning, covered five critical locations within the Adani complex:

Adani Mundra Port: Students witnessed the impressive scale and efficiency of India’s largest private commercial port. They observed the state-of-the-art infrastructure for handling diverse cargo, including containers and bulk goods, gaining a clear understanding of the logistics and supply chain management that drive global trade.

West Port: The visit to the West Port provided a deep dive into the specialized operations of one of the world's largest coal import terminals. Students saw firsthand how advanced mechanization and integrated conveyor systems facilitate the rapid and efficient handling of massive volumes of coal, crucial for the nation's energy sector.

Adani Wilmar: At the Adani Wilmar plant, the students explored the agri-business and food processing industry. They learned about the end-to-end process of edible oil production, from refining crude oil to the automated packaging of popular brands like Fortune.

Adani Solar Plant: This visit was a highlight, showcasing Adani's commitment to renewable energy. Students were amazed by the precision of the manufacturing process at India's largest solar cell and module factory. They observed robotic arms and clean-room operations, gaining insights into cutting-edge photovoltaic technology and sustainable energy practices.

Adani Power: The final leg of the tour took students to one of India's largest thermal power plants. They received a comprehensive overview of power generation, from the coal handling process to the control room operations. This visit helped them understand the complexities of the energy sector and the importance of continuous, large-scale power generation.
