The Integrated MCA Department of Chimanbhai Patel Institute of Computer Applications (IMCA), Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University, successfully organized an IBM SkillsBuild Workshop on 15th July, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for Integrated MCA Second and Third Year students.

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Hiren Modha, who introduced students to IBM and its contributions to technological innovation. The session covered emerging topics such as Agentic AI, Types of Large Language Models (LLMs), and IBM Granite Models, providing students with valuable insights into the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence.

Students were also introduced to the IBM SkillsBuild Certificate Courses, including "Getting Started with Artificial Intelligence" and "Getting Started with Cybersecurity." The speaker explained how these industry-recognized certification programs can help students develop in-demand technical skills and improve their career prospects.

The workshop concluded with a discussion on designing and developing Generative AI projects, where students gained practical guidance on applying AI concepts to solve real-world problems. The interactive session encouraged students to explore AI technologies, pursue professional certifications, and enhance their industry readiness.
