Gujarat Sahitya Academy-Gandhinagar and Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University jointly organised Sahityane Sathware programe with Poetry Recitation of four well-known poets. President Sri Siddharth Patel of SVGU, in presence of well-known poets namely Sri Madhav Ramanuj, Padmasree Tushar Shukla, Rajesh Vyas ‘Miskin’ and Anil Chavdas, has launched nine books amid the capacity-filled Auditorium, alongside all the directors of institutes, faculty members and students, on March 20, 2026.
Five of the books are written by faculty members from various institutes of the university and four are Conference Proceedings (comprising papers from Annual International Conference by CPIM) published by Lambert Academic Publishing.

The book launch event was the testimony of the academic rigour and conducive environment accorded by the university to its academicians in achieving their holistic pursuit of professional, personal and academic excellence.
Our Provost Dr. Subhash Brahmbhatt has written the book ‘भारतीय संस्कृतिमां चार पुरुषार्थ’ on Indian Knowledge System that will be useful for the further research of the systems of Indian Philosophy.
This further strengthens the mission of vision of the university which aims to be a centre of excellence which will have linkages with industry, academia, government and social sectors and fulfil the collective needs of various stakeholders of society. In doing so it will provide a platform that is conducive for exchange of ideas, teaching, research and extension so that students are nurtured for their future role as leaders in a globalized knowledge economy.
